About UEN

Unbiased Education Network (UEN)

Our mission is to serve as a neutral source of research, guidance, and technical support for students and the educators who support them in the state of Michigan. We provide objective postsecondary information, free from institutional influence or promotional bias, to help communities navigate an increasingly complex education landscape with confidence and clarity.

For UEN, “unbiased” means our recommendations are driven by evidence and context - not enrollment goals, institutional incentives, or promotional agendas.

We envision a future where Michigan students fully understand their postsecondary options, schools and counselors are well-equipped to guide students and families effectively, and postsecondary institutions are confident in supporting students towards paths that truly align with their goals.

By delivering neutral, data-driven guidance and actionable strategies, we aim to make informed decision-making the standard for the Michigan educational ecosystem.
